Doing this will display the IMEI number (IMEI = International Mobile Equipment Identity) which is usually 15 digits beginning with 35. Check to confirm if the displayed IMEI number matches with the IMEI number at the back of the phone. If its different, this indicates that the phone is fake. If the phone display an error message, it means it is fake. Try this now on your phone to confirm.. I called/named this tip IMEI Confirmation (IC).
